midstream
What exactly is #GasToCrypto anyway? Our CEO says it about as succinctly as possible.
Kendrick’s venture fund led the seed round. The board later invited him to become CEO. After his daughter was born, he wanted to be present for his family, so he wound down the fund, returned the remaining capital to investors, and resigned from midstream.
He left a reverse merger in progress with the pink-sheets company from which the first gas-well assets had originally been spun. The contemplated structure would have taken midstream public through a route that resembled a SPAC transaction in practical effect, though it was not a modern blank-check SPAC.
Kendrick recalls that the investors later chose to combine the entities in the opposite direction without his leadership. That is his recollection. This archive does not present it as a finding from public filings.
The boundary is deliberate. This page records the public business chapter and the family decision Kendrick has chosen to share. It does not speculate about private events or assign blame to people who are not here to answer.
